A little more finesse was required for MTVRA’s contractor working on a project with the BLM Butte office these past couple weeks. BLM had some mostly single-track trails that hadn’t seen any real love in a number of years. Our contractor was able to use a small mini-excavator to help repair sections as directed by BLM throughout several trails in the BLM portion of Pipestone. Don’t worry, trail maintenance does NOT mean removing difficult sections that are meant to be difficult.
