Montana Trail Vehicle Riders Association was able to work on a mechanized trail maintenance project in direct partnership with the USFS Yellowstone Ranger District, part of Custer Gallatin National Forest. MTVRA’s portion of the project assistance lasted 2 weeks in mid-September. MTVRA was able to provide the contractor team with the trail dozer to assist in tackling needed trail tread repairs in and around the Derby Gulch / Mtn area.
This is another successful partnership project between USFS and MTVRA that resulted in much needed improvements to our public trails in the area.
