Montana Trail Vehicle Riders Association was able to work on a mechanized trail maintenance project in direct partnership with the USFS Yellowstone Ranger District, part of Custer Gallatin National Forest. MTVRA’s assistance to the project lasted 3 weeks in August this year. MTVRA was able to provide the contractor with the trail dozer to assist in tackling needed trail tread repairs on public motorized trails in and around the Smith Creek area.
This is another successful partnership project between USFS and MTVRA that resulted in much needed improvements to our public trails in the area.
