Hebgen Lake maintenance

With recent capacity / contractor expansion over the past couple years, we have been able to run two different contractor teams in different areas at the same time. This really helps out when trying to complete the needed trail maintenance within the confines of the riding season.

Over the past 3 weeks, Montana Trail Vehicle Riders Association was able to work on a couple mechanized trail maintenance projects in direct partnership with the USFS Hebgen Lake Ranger District, part of Custer Gallatin National Forest. MTVRA was able to provide the contractor with the trail dozer to assist in tackling needed trail tread repairs on public motorized trails in and around the Lionhead Loop and Taylor Fork areas.

This is another successful partnership project between USFS and MTVRA that resulted in much needed improvements to our public trails in the area.
