First half of June was spent repairing trails in the Dillon Ranger District of Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest, south of Dillon, MT. This project in partnership with Region 1 USFS saw much of the time spent on a heavily rutted trail section near Deadman Lake Trailhead that had numerous washouts caused by incorrect drainage. 81 new drains and / or rolling dips later and the trail has a much more sustainable tread surface.
Other trail maintenance sections included areas near Nicholia Creek Rd, Lower Harkness Lake, Bear Creek Trailhead, and Upper Harkness Lake.
