This winter my wife and I spent six weeks in the Lake Havasu, Arizona area and had a chance to observe the changing scene of motorized recreation. Although we saw many different types of OHVs, the vast majority were UTVs, with many newer ones being four seaters. We also observed permanent residents riding around town in UTVs with street tires. You could tell many had never been on dirt or sand. I’m sure many had had golf carts in the past but now enjoyed the power, comfort and the ability to show off their new toy. So, what does this mean for us in Montana?
