People volunteering their time, energy and expertise is the backbone of non-profit organizations like MTVRA and the many OHV clubs and organizations around the state. Recently Bob Walker let us know he would be stepping down as the Montana Trail Rider News editor after four years of dedicated service. We thank Bob for his time he has given MTVRA but also for his service to other boards and committees. Thanks Bob!

President's Corner - April 2016

This winter my wife and I spent six weeks in the Lake Havasu, Arizona area and had a chance to observe the changing scene of motorized recreation. Although we saw many different types of OHVs, the vast majority were UTVs, with many newer ones being four seaters. We also observed permanent residents riding around town in UTVs with street tires. You could tell many had never been on dirt or sand. I’m sure many had had golf carts in the past but now enjoyed the power, comfort and the ability to show off their new toy. So, what does this mean for us in Montana?
